WHAT STUDENTS WILL NEED

If you haven’t already bought, borrowed or rented an instrument, the 2 companies that we

recommend for rentals are:

Johnson Strings (800) 359-9351 and

Spencer Brook Strings (978) 897-6382.

In addition to an instrument, bow, and case, your child will need the following books:

Grades 3 & 4: Essential Elements for Strings book 1

Grade 5:  Essential Elements for Strings book 2

Additionally, all beginning students will need to print out the beginners packets

and note reading packets located on the Elementary Strings tab above.

Please always bring a pencil to class, as well as a music folder or binder so that sheet music

does not get crumpled.
